Your packaging should be doing more than just a holding vessel for your product. Especially if you have a premium or luxury product range.

Your packaging can actually be an experience for your customer. It should function as a marketing, sales and branding tool for your product - it’s prime real estate!

How can you bring to life your brand’s values and story. Use icons to highlight your key features. Use illustrations to bring our your brand or product's personality and create an immersive look and feel for your product.

➋ Texture & Material

Choose the right stock or material for your product. This can make a huge difference to how your product feels for your customer when they hold the packaging. It can also further emphasise how much your brand stands behind its values on quality or environmental sustainability.

➌ Colour for standing out

Strong colour blocking will help draw your customer's eye towards your product. This is especially important if your product is in a saturated niche. Help your customer find the product they are looking for within your range. eg. The colour green is typically used to help customers find Peppermint tea.

➍ Copy & Text

How can you clearly communicate what your product does in an evocative way? How does your brand's voice come out when you describe your products on your packaigng?
